The Curiosity Band are a folk trio-based based in Lincoln. The Curiosity Band are multi instrumentalists who write their own original music as well as creating quirky folky covers.
The Curiosity Band played the Leadenham Folk festival and did a small tour of the county last year. You can find their music on all streaming platforms.
Rich in raw emotion Scarlet Joy have a sound that cuts deep. This is an act that knows how to captivate with their distinctive style and impassioned live performance. Brought together by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Sofire Woodcraft, this power trio was formed in 2019 with bass player Tom Latham and drummer Drew Moore.
With a list of influences that runs from PJ Harvey to QOTSA, Nirvana to Nine Inch Nails, Scarlet Joy have forged a unique fusion that is both vulnerable and powerful, weaving together their haunting vocals, distorted guitars and fierce drums with intense sentiment. They have been bringing their exciting mix of potent grunge and emotive alternative rock to independent venues and grass roots festivals throughout the UK.
Scarlet Joy released their debut album ‘Mourning Pages’ in November 2022. The album lays bare the whole human condition, exploring themes of love, loss, hope and fate. It is available to stream now on all major platforms.
