Dave D'Souza

After school Dave started an apprenticeship in his home town of Chesterfield but after a man came a put a computer on his lathe he decided that he thought this was taking away the skill element.

So it was that he found himself in a barrack block at RAF Swinderby, 22 years later after traveling around the world, being shot at, having heaps of fun flying, playing cricket, drinking, promotions and the like he found himself as a Sergeant and at the end of his term, civvy street beckoned and he will tell you it frightened him to death.

British Aerospace were daft enough to give him another job and eighteen years later he retired as Engineering Governance Lead at RAF Coningsby for the Typhoon fleet.

Along the way Dave has gained plenty of radio experience including RAF Binbrook, RAF Gutersloh, BFBS Singapore, BFBS Cyprus, The Falkland Islands Broadcasting Service (FIBS, (an unfortunate acronym for a radio station)) and Lincoln City Radio, COVID-19 brought an end to that, Dave is excited to be back and looks forward to presenting many more shows.
