LCR FM 103.6 is a volunteer run community radio station based in the heart of Lincoln. Our volunteers gain a positive rewarding experience from learning new skills, meeting new friends and having fun at the same time. As the saying goes "you only get out of it what you put into it." We spend a lot of time training our volunteers to be the best they can, so why not come and get involved yourself.

As well as presenting shows there are many other tasks that are needed to be done at a radio station. No one role is more important than another, we need help with all tasks and we work as a team.

You could help out with our outside broadcast as we travel around the county visiting shows and events. Identify local news stories or recording interviews with interesting local people. We have a mountain of paperwork you might like to challenge, so whatever your skill we can find a use for it to keep the station running smoothly.

We are looking for individuals from all ages and backgrounds. Being a good communicator, good local knowledge, well organised, have good IT skills be willing to learn will all be a great advantage. Working for LCR FM 103.6 is all about getting involved in a variety of tasks and learning new skills by doing.
