A new publication – entitled ‘50 Stone Age Finds: From the Portable Antiquities Scheme’ - is the inspiration for a well- illustrated talk at Lincoln Central Library on Free School Lane which will draw on examples of Stone Age Finds from Lincolnshire. This talk is presented at 2pm by Kevin Leahy and is organized by the Society for Lincolnshire History & Archaeology in conjunction with Lincoln Central Library. Enjoy a talk exploring the Victorian Gothic Revival and the 1882 restoration of St Mary Magdalene church in Lincoln’s Bailgate offering a closer look at the ideas and craftsmanship that shaped the building. Afterwards, visitors are encouraged to stay for tea and a selection of Victorian cakes! The talk takes place at 3pm. At the same time, St Mary Magdelen is running an exhibition which is available from when the Church opens at 12.30pm. The exhibition is all about the 1882 restoration of St Mary Magdalene, uncovering the stories and craftsmanship behind this Victorian makeover.

'A Modern Chronicle’ is a photographic exploration of Lincolnshire's
heritage, life and seasonal moments by local photographer Andrew
Scott. Andrew Scott is an Award-Winning, self-taught photographer
based in Lincoln. Over the years, Andrew has captured the City and
County's architecture, streets, events and quiet moments. If you use

artist Robin Wheeldon at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life on Burton
Road, Lincoln. The exhibition celebrates the heart and soul of
Lincolnshire's rural heritage. This striking collection of oil
paintings brings together Lincolnshire's beautiful vistas with
timeless rural life, from sweeping farming scenes and beautifully
observed landscapes to Lincolnshire's proud engineering, including
reaper binders, traction engines and tractors. Alongside these sit
characterful studies of livestock; curly coated pigs and shire horses
rendered with warmth and skill. Together, the works tell a rich story
of land, labour, and legacy under Lincolnshire's vast skies. Entry is
