An exhibition of peregrine falcon photography will be held in Lincoln Cathedral’s Chapter House from Monday 23 to Sunday 29 March. The exhibition brings together the work of local wildlife photographers who regularly document the peregrine falcons that nest and raise their young on Lincoln Cathedral. Curated by Bruce Hargrave and sponsored by LCE Lincoln, the display explores the ongoing relationship between the cathedral and the birds that have become part of its contemporary life. The exhibition coincides with the launch of a new book, Tales From The Towers, which presents a long-term photographic record of the cathedral peregrines and their seasonal life above the cathedral precincts. Subject to the breeding season being underway, a live feed from the peregrine nest webcam will be shown on a large screen. Photographers involved in the project will be present at intervals during the week to speak with visitors and answer questions. More information can be found on lincolncathedral.com
