Messy Christmas at St George's Church, Eastbrook Road, Lincoln from 10 - 11.30am. All the normal fun of Messy Church but with a Christmas twist. There will be Nativity figure painting, yarn star tree decoration and messy angel painting, as well as inn building and nativity costumes to dress up in. Refreshments will be served throughout the whole morning as you craft your way round the church and end with a telling of the Christmas story and some singing. It's free and open for all families.
Join Banovallum Brass to celebrate the Joy of Christmas at St Mary's Church in Horncastle at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 and £3 for under 18s and you can get a ticket from ticketsource.co.uk or from Fletcher & Hughes in the Bull Ring, Horncastle (cash only please).
Step into a world of festive magic as Sleaford's Market Place sparkles to life with WinterLight, returning for its second year. Expect festive fun and entertainment, a community lantern procession, a dazzling display of illuminated woodland creatures and lots more. The event runs from 3 - 8pm.

It's the Alford Silver Band Christmas Concert taking place at Alford Corn Exchange at 7.30pm. It will be a magical evening of festive favourites and the fantastic Brass Tracks will be special guests. It will be a spectacular show and entry is free.

The New Cliffside Players present Robin Hood at Wellingore Memorial Hall at 2 and 7pm on both days. This is a one act family pantomime with no interval. The Christmas Sing-a-Long at Home in Park Street, Lincoln from 3 - 8pm. Christmas is almost here and it's time to sing all your festive favourites. A joyful afternoon when the DJ will spin the best Christmas hits, from timeless classics to modern songs. You'll be surrounded by seasonal cheer perfect for a fun, relaxed atmosphere. There's a Carol Service at St Germain's Church in Scothern at 4pm for one hour. It's a traditional service of readings and carols.
Brass Bands and Carols at Martin Village Hall at 2pm. Come and celebrate the festive season with an afternoon of carols and music with Banovallum Brass. Entry is free and you can enjoy a fully stocked bar, delicious mulled wine, sparkling Bucks Fizz and mince pies. Bring your family, friends and your best singing voice for a wonderful afternoon of community cheer.
Birchwood Winter Wonderland at Birchwood Boiler House Community Hall from 1 - 4pm. A magical afternoon of festive fun for the whole family with everything completely free. This includes a Santa's Grotto with a gift for every child, Christmas crafts, a bouncy castle, juice for the children and produce to take home for winter stews. There's also a fancy dress competition with a prize for the winner, tombola and a raffle. Refreshments will be available to purchase.

This medieval take on the Nativity, translated from the 1450 historic plays, includes comedic midwives, foolish shepherds and an argumentative Joseph. It's suitable for all ages and no tickets are needed but donations would be appreciated. It starts at 6pm.
Christmas Ho Ho Ho Down at the Blue Room, Union Road, Lincoln from 6 - 10pm. The Sean Jackson Band are playing a huge selection of your country favourites such as Dolly Parton, Luke Combs, Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers. There will be line dancing, square bales, good beer and a 5 piece ho down band. An event not to be missed.
Boultham Park Christmas Junior Parkrun at 9am. It's the time of year when you get the chance to don your favourite reindeer, elf or Santa outfit and have a fun 2km run, walk or skip around the park. There's no compulsion to dress up and parkrunners will be welcome whether they choose to or not. There may be some Christmassy treats for those who take part.
Lincolnshire Farmers' Carol Service at 3pm at Bailgate Methodist Church. Get into the festive spirit with family and friends. There will be readings by friends of the farming community, traditional Christmas carols and a performance by the Farmers and Friends Singing Group. Everyone is welcome.
A Victorian Christmas at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Burton Road from 10am - 4pm. Step back in time and discover how the Victorians celebrated Christmas with festive traditions. Enjoy craft activities for the children, follow the special children's trail and meet Mother Christmas. You can visit Mr Black the Victorian printer and create your own traditional Christmas card and watch the cook prepare for the busiest time of her year. Admission prices are £4 for children and adults are free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
It's Bucknall's Annual Christmas Get Together from 3.30 -7pm at the Village Hall. This is a free event for the community and all residents, your family and friends are welcome. There will be free games, tombola and refreshments and Santa has scheduled a visit between 4 and 5.30pm. There will be a collection pot should anyone wish to make a donation towards the upkeep of the village hall.
Christmas Crafts at Boultham Park from 10 - 11.30am. Come and join this Christmas craft event and make decorations out of all sorts of materials in time for the big day. Breakfast with Santa at the Park Street Eatery, 36 Park Street, Lincoln from 10 - 11.30am. Tickets cost £11 and included in your ticket is a bacon or sausage bap for 1 adult and 1 child and coffee, tea or juice. There will also be festive crafts and activities, a photo with Santa and a special gift for every child. Booking is essential at Park Street reception.
Christmas Extravaganza at the LNER Stadium from 8.30am. A full day of festive football, player meet and greets, Christmas quizzes and seasonal surprises.

There's a family carol service at Lincoln Cathedral at 10.30am. It's a family friendly re-telling of the Christmas story and you're invited to come dressed as a character from the story.

Nettleham Live at the Village Hall presents The Wilderness Yet - a fabulous trio performing an eclectic mix of traditional and original songs with guitar, fiddle, flute and three-part harmonies. The group will be supported by Ian Tumilty. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30 start and there will be a licensed bar, tea, coffee and ice cream. Nettleham Parish Council invite you to join a winter walk from 10am - 12 noon. The start and finish will be at the Old School with tea, coffee and mince pies afterwards. The walk will start on hard surfaces with an extension onto field paths for those who wish to continue. Children are welcome with parents, as are dogs on leads.
