Traditional Milling Day. Cogglesford Watermill, Sleaford. See the whole mill in action as staff and volunteers work the machinery to grind flour. A great Living History lesson all ages will enjoy! Heath U3A meet at the Village Hall and Library in Bracebridge Heath at 2pm when the speaker will be Graham Mumby Croft talking about "How I Made Crime Pay". Everyone is welcome to come along as a guest and there is a £2 contribution towards the cost of the speaker and refreshments.


The Chatty Crafters meet every Monday afternoon between 2 and 4pm in the Washingborough Community Centre Small Hall. If you're interested in joining bring along your craft, whatever it may be, or just come along for the company, a chat, a cuppa and a biscuit.


Join the Usher Gallery Art Club for ages 11 - 16 at Lincoln Museum, Danes Terrace from 3.30 - 6pm to learn art techniques, play with art materials, discover exhibitions and work with practising artists. The cost is £9 per person and booking is essential on lincolnmuseumdigitickets.co.uk.

If you want to keep fit and get active come along to Badminton for Enjoyment at Branston Community Academy Sports Hall from 7 - 9pm. It's pay as you play - £3 for 2 hours for adult beginners and improvers (15 years +). Just turn up with appropriate footwear. Racquets can be provided. If you would like more information call Roger on 07519‍ 912790. This takes place every Tuesday.


Nettleham WI meet in the Village Hall at 7.30pm for an evening of cakes and games. As always, visitors and new members are welcome.


Dunston Community Cafe at the Methodist Chapel from 9 - 11.30am. There are delicious refreshments with barista coffees, a range of teas, homemade cakes, toasted tea cakes and toast.

Bracebridge Heath Friendship Club meet every Wednesday from 2 - 4pm in the Village Hall. It's a friendly group who play bingo and whist and there's also tea and coffee and a raffle.


The Gathering Space Wellbeing Space at the Vine Centre in Cherry Willingham from 1 - 3pm. A time to relax and have some time for yourself with complimentary refreshments and snacks. There will also be a variety of free activities to support your well-being, such as arts and crafts, mindful exercises, singing, board games, poetry workshops and more.


Wellingore & District U3A meet in the Memorial Hall at 10.30am and this month the speaker will be Keith Hanson talking about the Bloody Tower. Tea and coffee will be available from 10am.

It's that time of year again and The Penfold Players present Sleeping Beauty at Washingborough Community Centre. Tickets cost £10 for Wednesday evening and £12 for Thursday, Friday, Saturday Matinee and Saturday evening and are available from Ros Donington on 01522‍ 792144.

Bracebridge Heath Community Hub and Library will be open between 6 and 7.30pm and all are welcome to come along and chat about books with other enthusiasts.


The Lincoln Wildlife Trust meet at Whisby Nature Park, Moor Lane, Thorpe on the Hill at 7.30pm when Professor Libby Johns will be giving a talk entitled On Her Bike. All are welcome and there is no need to book or be a Trust member. It's £2.50 entrance.

There's a wine tasting murder mystery at The Red Lion in East Kirkby at 6pm when you can step into a night of elegance, suspense and good wine. An elite crowd has gathered at a legendary Chateau where the world's oldest cheese is about to be paired with groundbreaking wine. Alan Bosc raises his golden goblet, takes a sip and collapses to the floor. A fast paced evening where every taste could be a clue and every suspect has something to hide.


Harmston Happy Hour takes place at the Memorial Hall from 5 - 9pm. A chance to celebrate the start of the weekend with friends and neighbours.


Lincoln & District Macular Support Group meet on the third Friday of each month at St Clements Court, Chapel Lane, Lincoln from 11am - 1pm, so if you have sight loss or a new diagnosis that threatens your sight and you feel alone and unsupported please come along and join in. You can learn new skills and there are regular speakers and sight loss specialists. Friends and family are welcome and the cost is £2 per person, including refreshments. 54 North Burns Night Ceilidh at Canwick Village Hall at 7.30pm. A family friendly dance for all ages and abilities with live music. No previous experience is needed as the caller will guide you through each dance. Wear your tartans to celebrate Burns Night. Tickets cost £6 and the bar will be open for refreshments.


Friendly Faces Feel Good Friday at East Kirkby Village Hall from 10am - 12pm. Come and join in for chat, crafts, card games, crib and more. There will also be refreshments. The event is free but donations would be welcome.


Hykeham Textile Group meet every Friday at South Hykeham Village Hall from 1 - 4pm and you can do embroidery, crochet, fabric and felt projects, quilling or pictures made out of buttons. The projects are optional and some things are provided, otherwise there is a small cost. No experience is needed so come for the company or try something new. Friday 16th and Saturday 17th January Snow White and the Magnificent Seven at the New Theatre Royal in Lincoln at 7.30pm. The Market Theatre's Adult Panto Company are out to corrupt another classic fairytale beyond recognition with their very own version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. There's a Murder Mystery Night at Tension Twisted Realities in Croft Street at 7pm when Mr Murderies' Players present the 1920s murder mystery The Broken Trust. You are invited by Sir Charles and Lady Astrid to the birthday of their daughter Isabelle. The dress code is 1920s glamour and there will be drinks on arrival and food included in the price of £15 per person. There will be prizes for the best dressed and the best sleuth.


Viva La Rave - a Sober Rave at Southside in Colegrave Street at 6pm. An uplifting alcohol-free club night promoting dancing for wellbeing and community connection. Experience live DJs, a friendly crowd and the pleasure of dancing without the hangover. As well as bottled water and hot and soft drinks there will be plenty of 0% spirits, beer and cider, fizz and mocktails from the bar. Tickets are £10 in advance from gigantic.com or £12 on the door. Ages 16+.


There's a Jumble Sale in aid of Lincoln Cat Care at the Royal Naval Club in Coulson Road from 12 - 2pm. Come along and grab a bargain from hundreds of items, including clothing, shoes, bags, bric a brac, books and media and more. There will also be tombola and refreshments, including cakes, tea and coffee. Entry is 40p or a tin of cat food.


Brandon Fury is live at Branston Home Guard Club at 8pm. An evening of rock n roll and rockabilly with just guitar and vocals. There is a small entry fee of 50p for those who are not members of the club.


Coffee Morning at Carlton le Moorland Village Hall from 10am - 12 noon with cakes, bakes and butties on sale. There will also be a raffle and donations of prizes would be welcome. Cash and cards are accepted and all proceeds are donated to charity.

You can make fused glass love birds ready for Valentine's Day at Alford Craft Market, 1 West Street, Alford from 10.30am - 1.30pm. There will be a choice of colours and you will learn to cut glass and decorate in your own style. Your fired piece will be ready for collection about a week later. Please wear closed toed shoes.
