The Coldplay Tribute at North Hykeham Social Club on Moor Lane at 9pm. A fantastic night of great music awaits. This is a ticketed event and tickets are available from the bar. Free to members and £5 to non-members. All non-members must be signed in by a member on the night.
Autumn Lights Firework Fiesta at the Lincolnshire Showground from 4 - 9pm. A great night of entertainment with live music, a family funfair, delicious street food and two spectacular firework displays choreographed to music from around the world. Lincoln Rugby Football Club Fireworks Display at Lodge Lane, Nettleham. Get ready for a spectacular evening of fireworks, fun and festivities. You can expect a breathtaking fireworks display, inflatables, fairground rides, sparklers, sweet stalls, burgers, pizza and a hog roast. The gate opens at 6pm and the display is at 8pm. Tickets cost between £10 and £15 for individuals and between £25 and £30 for a group (excluding booking fee). Please ensure you book a parking ticket if you plan on parking at the display. Rasen Area Memory Cafe at the Festival Hall, Market Rasen from 10am - 12 noon. This is a dementia friendly group, welcoming those suffering with their memory, carers, friends and family. There is parking available and there will be refreshments, music, support and activities. The group meet on the first Friday of every month.
Fireworks at Coleby Village Hall from 5 - 9pm. The gates open at 5pm and the fireworks start at 6.30pm. No ticket is necessary but a donation of £5 on entry is suggested. Hot dogs will be on sale from 5pm and there will also be hot chocolate, mulled wine, soft drinks and bottled beer, plus a sweet stall, a cake stall and a flashy light stall. Charity Evening of Music at Leadenham Village Hall. A relaxed evening of folk music with Turning of the Tide playing acoustic folk roots, supported by Andy Tymens and Andy Lenton, two of Lincolnshire's award winning singer-songwriters joining together to perform their own mixture of songs and stories. Birchwood Scout Group are holding a fundraising day in memory of two Lincoln children, Riley and Sophie. Please come and support the event which will have stalls, crafts, activities, games, tombola and a raffle. This event will be held in the Birchwood Scout Hut on Woodfield Avenue between 1 and 4pm and is raising money for Sophie's Journey to help children with cancer and their families. Riley has a special fund raising money to help with research into childhood cancers.
Toy Steam Rally at the Stanhope Hall, Boston Road, Horncastle from 10am - 4pm. Exhibits will include static and working toy steam engines, trains, boats, vintage clockwork toys, miniature fairground rides and carousels. Bardney Autumn Trail from 4 - 7pm. This fun filled family event is to raise money for Donna's Animal Rescue and starts at the Old Angel Inn. Collect your map, solve the clues and take part in some fabulous interactive activities, including toasting marshmallows, apple bobbing, meeting animals, making birdfeeders and bug hotels, conker decorating, mini pumpkin launchers and more besides. You can also bring your used pumpkins to the pumpkin recycling point. The cost is £3 per child which includes map and bag, all activities and a prize for each completed trail. The activities begin at 4pm and the trail opens at 5pm. Soup will be available on the route for £1 - cash only.
Bird and Bat Box Making Workshop at Horncastle Community Centre, Manor House Street, from 10am - 2pm. Construct shelters for birds or bats with local conservationist Stephen and learn about the specific needs of these animals, including the importance of suitable habitats and water quality in rivers. Avro Lancaster Night Taxy and Fireworks at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby from 9.30am - 9pm. Experience an atmosphere which cannot be recreated. Lincoln Historical Association meet at the Brayford Pool Campus, University of Lincoln at 6.15pm when the speaker will be Samantha Shave talking about the Work and Rebellions of Workhouse Chaplains. In this talk Samantha brings to life the work of workhouse chaplains in the mid nineteenth century. They were appointed in the majority of New Poor Law workhouses to provide religious instruction to inmates and also to oversee the behaviour and moral conduct of all individuals connected to the workhouse. Talks are free to Historical Association members and the cost is £4 for visitors.

Market Rasen Round Table Fireworks Display at the Cricket and Association Football Club at 5pm. This a family event with great fireworks, a licensed bar, BBQ and hot drinks. Annual Memorial Talk at the Golf Hotel, Woodhall Spa. This event is organised by Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum and this year it's the second talk by Lorna Almonds-Windmill on her father "Gentleman Jim" Almonds of Stixwould.
