A new exhibition featuring The Papestry by locally based artist Matthew D. Wright. Spanning nearly 6 meters in length, The Papestry meticulously details the buildings lining the iconic Lincoln landmarks of the Bailgate and Steep Hill. Alongside The Papestry is a film featuring the process of creating this stunning piece, as well as some of the stories that were drawn out as a result. The Usher Gallery is open Thursday to Monday, free admission.

The Barbican Creative Hub is proud to be a venue taking part in Creative Lincs Art Trail which is celebrating over 100 artists in Lincoln; the Hub will be open Friday 26th June – Sunday 28th June at 11 St Mary’s St, Lincoln. You’re invited to check out the Hub’s creative-in-residence Emma Chippendale's open studio. Emma is a Lincoln-based Artist, Designer, Muralist and Barbican Creative Hub resident, creating large scale nature-rooted murals that transform spaces and connect people. Tabletop Sales at North Hykeham Memorial Hall, 11am to 3pm. Find a bargain and enjoy some home baking. Organised in aid of Umbrellas, which supports children, young people and adults with additional needs and their families.

The Liquorice Park Summer Fete offers a celebration of community and nature to remember. The Performance Area will host music and bands all day with something for all including the return of the brilliant Steampunk Choir S.C.O.N.E. And for the first time the Ravens Coven Dancing Witches! The Herb Garden will be full of laughter and Fun with creative activities for all including face painting, crafts with Lark Books and bath bomb workshops. Pop along to the North Scarle Miniature Railway 2026 from 9am to 11am. Children and adults alike can enjoy rides on the 660-metre miniature railway track; the railway operates in conjunction with the village car boot sale, making it a lovely morning out for families looking to browse stalls and enjoy a train ride.

The Lincoln Jazz Festival 2026 takes place at Lincoln Cathedral from July 10th to July 12th. Now in its fifth year, the UK's premier cathedral jazz festival features around 70 musicians performing a vibrant mix of swing, blues, and classical-jazz fusion. The weekend features a blend of ticketed headliners and free outdoor performances across multiple spaces in and around the Cathedral. To learn more, lincolncathedral.com


Watch out for the 90 years of Bomber Command summer trail from Friday 10 July. The IBCC is open from 9.30am to 5.00pm every day except Monday, although it is open on Bank Holiday Mondays. Entry is free and parking is only £3 for the whole day. For more info go to internationalbcc.co.uk

Step back in time to when Lincoln Castle was a prized fortress and endured dramatic sieges in the 12th and 13th centuries! The second of which was most famously defended by the greatest knight there ever was - William Marshall Experience the sights and sounds of medieval combat as skilled knights and men-at-arms demonstrate the training and discipline required for battle. Watch as they put their abilities to the test in thrilling tournament displays, both on foot and on horseback, competing for honour, glory, and the defence of the Castle. Alongside the action, discover the fascinating story behind the Magna Carta—and the crucial role William Marshall played in preserving its legacy. The event is included as part of the Castle Day ticket and free for annual pass holders to enjoy. 10am to 5pm.

‘Explore with Paws’ on Lincoln Castle’s Dog Friendly Days! Dogs aren’t usually allowed in the Castle grounds but on dog friendly days your dog can explore with you. From the banks of the Norman Motte to the Prison Cells, your four legged friend can follow you on a journey back through history. The Grounds are free to enter and enjoy, all other admissions apply
