The Wong Day Service invite you to their Christmas coffee morning at 11 The Wong, Horncastle from 10.30am - 2pm. As well as coffee, tea and cake there will be hand crafted trinkets and gifts plus tombola, a raffle and much more. Raffle and tombola donations would be appreciated.
Lincoln Historical Association are holding their monthly meeting in the Minerva Building at the Brayford Pool Campus of the University at 6.15pm. The lecture is given by Philip Hamlyn-Williams and the subject is Vehicles to Vaccines - What Happened to British Manufacturing since 1951. At the time of the Festival of Britain we made and exported more vehicles than any other country but our pharmaceutical industry made little more than simple remedies. Now all that has changed and the speaker will talk about what he thinks happened. Talks cost £4 for visitors but are free to HA members, students, teachers and university staff. Air Dry Clay Christmas Decoration Workshop at Age UK, 36 Park Street, Lincoln from 10am - 12.30pm. Come along and make your own hanging Christmas decoration. Christmas by Candlelight at Lincoln Cathedral at 7.30pm. A spectacular West End cast and incredible live band perform your favourite Christmas hits as you've never heard them before. The show features songs such as White Christmas, Let It Snow, Santa Baby and Oh Holy Night. This uplifting concert is the perfect way to celebrate with all the family. A Christmas Carol at Alford Manor House at 7.30pm. It's Christmas Eve and tight fisted Ebenezer Scrooge is meaner than ever, shunning his only relative, underpaying his clerk and refusing to acknowledge the plight of the poor, but will timely visits from the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future change his miserly ways before it's too late. Age UK Lindsey Horncastle Christmas Fayre at the Community Centre from 9.30am - 12.30pm. Large tombola and raffle, knitted Christmas toys, Christmas cards and calendars, handmade Christmas decorations and homemade flower arrangements. You will also be able to decorate your own Christmas bauble. There will be mulled wine and tea, coffee and cakes on sale. Support your local charity helping older people in the community. Please note this is a cash only event.
Lincoln WI meet at the Grandstand on Carholme Road at 7.15pm for a 7.30 start. This meeting is a craft market where local artisans will be selling high quality items. Everyone is welcome and entry is free.

Christmas Market at Lincoln County Assembly Rooms on the Bailgate at 4pm on each day. Experience the magic with loads of festive stalls filled with unique gifts, holiday cheer and more and enjoy the delightful aroma of roasted chestnuts and visit the cafe for mulled wine, festive sausage rolls and other seasonal treats. Entry is free.
Christmas Wreath Making Workshop at Scampton Church at 6.30pm. The ticket price is £30 and this includes all materials, mulled wine and mince pies.
Woodhall Spa Sing it Loud are at Mareham le Fen Community Centre on Horncastle Road at 7pm. You are invited to an evening of singing, community and friendship interspersed with Christmas readings by Annie Horgan. Tickets cost £6 and include a glass of mulled wine, mulled apple juice or tea and coffee and a mince pie. Tickets can be purchased on mlfcommunitycentre.com, from choir members or Mareham le Fen post office. Proceeds will go to Mareham le Fen Village Hall and Memorial Lawn.

Wartime Christmas Crafts at the International Bomber Command Centre, Canwick Avenue, Lincoln from 10.30am - 3.30pm. Come along for some festive fun for all the family at the IBCC. Find out how children and adults in WW2 made sure that the Christmas season was still one to be celebrated, with a range of 1940s themed decorations and crafts for you to make and take home. St Barnabas Christmas Carolling event on Lincoln High Street in front of the War Memorial. There will be various choirs involved throughout the day between 9.30am and 5pm, including Phoenix Harmonies, Community Choir, BeVox Choir, Lincoln Rock Choir and Sing It Loud Choir.
Music and Carols at Tattershall Castle performed by the Banovallum Brass Band at 5pm. Then make your way to the Church of the Holy Trinity for festive refreshments, followed by candlelit carols from 6pm. 'Blokes Who Sing' Christmas Charity Concert at Washingborough Methodist Church. The doors open at 10am for pre-concert tea, coffee and cake.
Canwick Christmas Ceilidh at the Village Hall. Begin the festive season with an enjoyable evening of live music and dancing for all the family. You can bring along your instrument and join in with the traditional dance music or if you prefer to dance the callers will guide through a variety of fun Ceilidh dances. No previous experience is necessary - it's open to all ages and abilities. Doors open at 7pm and dancing is from 7.30 - 9.30pm. A Christmas Concert with the Meridian Singers and Louth Male Voice Choir will take place at Nichol Hill Methodist Church in Louth at 7.30pm, raising funds for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

Horncastle's Traditional Christmas Market takes place from 11am - 4pm with shops, entertainment, stalls, food, music and much more. Horncastle Community Choir will also be performing. You can also visit St Mary's Church for the Christmas Tree Festival between 10am and 4pm. Refreshments will also be available in the church.
Medieval Nativity Play - Lincoln Mystery Plays at Lincoln Cathedral at 6.30pm. Experience a true blast from the past with a medieval take on the Nativity. These newly translated mystery plays originally date from the 15th century and are loosely based on bible stories. This year's Medieval Nativity Play includes five of the original plays. With humour, human dilemmas and heavenly interventions, fabulous medieval music and evocative costumes this will help get you in the Christmas spirit. The performance lasts for approx. 45 minutes and is suitable for all ages. It is free of charge but donations would be welcome.
Tuesday chat on the first Tuesday of every month at 12 St Mark's Avenue, Cherry Willingham from 10.30am - 12pm. Want a chance to sit and chat or need a change of scene or just a place to be with someone else for a while? Cuppa, cake and company. All are welcome.
Harmony Lincs Chorus are based in Lincoln and rehearse every Tuesday evening at the Priory Academy on Skellingthorpe Road at 7.30pm. They welcome male voices from 18 to 80. At present there are 35 members who build their own performance stage and would love to help anyone who has a village hall or space for them to perform. They are happy to help any organisation raise money either for Children in Need or a charity of their own choice.
