Gareth Dowson

Gareth joined our Monday evening SportZone show in 2022. Sport has played a massive part in his life for as long as he can remember, so having the chance to share his knowledge, speak to interesting guests and deliver a good statistic through the radio is something Gareth finds very enjoyable! He also covers for Alan Long on Easy Sunday if he is away with The Imps or on holiday.

Gareth says that like many volunteers, he made the mistake when in the studio as a guest (while still cricket umpiring) of saying "That was fun, how do I get involved?" Safe to say he’s glad he did!
