Julie Cooke

Julie is Lincolnshire born and bred and has lived in and around the City for the majority of her life. Married to Joe, she has one daughter and two dogs.

Julie spent Thirty-two years as a uniformed member of the Fire Service retiring nine years ago as the Officer in Charge of the Command and Control Centre. Julie represented the Brigade at Regional and National level and also represented the Brigade at Silver Command Level during major incidents.

A Parish Councillor for six years taking the lead on HR issues.

Secretary/Treasurer for The Lincoln Tank Memorial, responsible for the day to day running of the project she helped raise the £100,000 required to successfully complete the Project.

Julie has been involved with LCR FM 103.6 for the last six years but her husband’s connection and financial backing for the station goes back much further.

Julie has been actively involved with successful fund-raising/social events for LCR FM 103.6 as well as events to raise the profile of LCR FM 103.6.
